In a straight line race a F1 has been absolutely gapped by a Bugatti Chiron, I’m no particular fan of the big blobby Bugattis BUT in a straight line if you are going to keep pace or pull ahead you are going to need 1700-1800+ and off the line AWD aswell. Above 200 mph the Chiron is still pulling like a freight train with its low drag coefficient and still hauling ass above 250mph. These newer hypercars are bonkers fast, mid to low 9 second cars from factory on factory tyres and on a normal road.

I can't wait until the Corvette ZORA comes out and I get to see it taking everything to gapplebee's.

They buy it because of the status symbol, the reliability of a factor super car, and the work of art it is. When you modify a GTR or any vehicle it usually becomes less reliable because you mix and match parts that originally wasn’t designed for it.
